Partner Terms & Conditions

This is a very early draft. The kwip driver app and partner programme are not live yet, so this is placeholder scaffolding only. It is not authoritative legal text, it has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and much of it is still to be defined. Do not rely on it.

These terms will cover your engagement as a kwip delivery partner (working with Duane Chetcuti, trading as kwip, VAT number MT28953125). They are drafted ahead of the driver app and will change substantially before any partner is onboarded.

Engagement

The nature of the engagement (employed, self-employed, or otherwise) and its exact terms are still being worked out. TBC.

Conduct and safety

Partners are expected to drive safely and lawfully, handle parcels with care, and treat customers and recipients with respect. Detailed conduct and safety standards will be set out here.

Proof of delivery

Partners must capture proof of delivery to the standard each order requires, from a photo drop up to a verified or secure handover, and a return proof when a parcel is handed back. Accurate, honest proof is a core obligation.

Payment and settlement

How and when partners are paid, including rates and settlement timing, will be defined here. TBC.

Equipment and vehicle

Requirements for vehicles, devices, and any kwip-provided equipment will be set out here, along with who is responsible for upkeep. TBC.

Data handling

Partners handle personal data (recipient names, addresses, phone numbers) only to carry out deliveries, and must keep it confidential and use it for nothing else. This is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Insurance

Insurance requirements and cover are still to be confirmed. TBC.

Termination

How either side can end the engagement, and any notice, will be defined here. TBC.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction over any dispute.
